The short version: InvisiLabs is built on a simple promise — we have zero access to your prompts, your data, or your identity. The extension runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. We don't sell data. We don't serve ads. We never will.
InvisiLabs ("we", "our", "us") is a browser extension that detects and redacts sensitive data from AI prompts before they are submitted. We are based in the United States and can be reached at hello@invisilabs.ai.
Prompt data: None. The InvisiLabs extension processes your prompts entirely within your browser using local pattern matching. Your prompts, the sensitive data detected, and the redacted output never leave your device and are never transmitted to InvisiLabs or any third party.
Waitlist email: If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address solely to notify you when InvisiLabs launches. We do not sell, share, or use it for any other purpose.
Website cookies: Our website uses minimal, essential cookies only — for example, to remember your cookie consent preference. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking.
The only personal data we hold is your email address if you joined the waitlist. We use it exclusively to send you a launch notification. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@invisilabs.ai.
We will never use your email for marketing beyond InvisiLabs product updates, and we will never sell or share it with any third party.
The InvisiLabs browser extension uses pattern matching algorithms that run entirely within your browser's local environment. When you type a prompt into an AI tool, the extension scans the text on your device, identifies sensitive patterns, and redacts them — all before the prompt is submitted.
At no point does InvisiLabs receive, intercept, store, or transmit any portion of your prompts. There is no InvisiLabs server involved in the detection or redaction process.
Our website is hosted on Netlify, which may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, page visited) as part of normal web hosting operations. You can review Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising services on our website.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you (your waitlist email). To exercise these rights, email us at hello@invisilabs.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
Because we do not track users or sell data, most standard data rights requests are satisfied by the fact that we hold no meaningful personal data beyond your email.
We retain waitlist email addresses until you request deletion or until 90 days after InvisiLabs publicly launches, at which point we will delete all waitlist data that has not converted to an active account.
InvisiLabs is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their email address, please contact us at hello@invisilabs.ai and we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of InvisiLabs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
